Famous Honduran Mouth Pointing

The other day in my class one of my favorite things happened. One of my students pointed with his mouth. This mouth point was in response to a question I had asked him. You see, people in Honduras point with their mouth when describing locations. It's not as easy as you think. Less head, more lips. And they do it quickly. It's so subtle and comfortable. Last year I had this very thought: be better at mouth pointing. I am glad that I have the resources right in front of me to help me meet my goal. Anyway, I had to stop class and tell him how I loooooved mouth pointing. At that point my whole class was mouth pointing. It was awesome. Made my heart smile.
