Now we play at 10:00. After some food and hot chocolate at McDonald's, we were ready to try our best. Have I mentioned yet that the temperature is hovering around freezing? That's 32 degrees Fahrenheit (0 degrees Celsius for all you metric people). Well, it was. Like, it felt as if you caught the ball your hand might crack and fall into pieces. We played awesome in the second game. We were hitting, fielding and all that jazz. I actually had some good hits and plays, if you don't count that crazy throw to third, with nobody on third. We all had great plays and hits. But it wasn't enough. We lost the game 14-16. While we were bummed the season was over, we were glad we didn't have play in Arctic-like weather again.
It's safe to say a winter league is out of the question.
