Es Obvio

Today at Homework Club I asked my students how to say something in Spanish. Sort of. It went like this:

Me (to about 5 students): How do you say "I love Kevin!"?
Oscar: "I like Kevin."
Me: No, in Spanish.
Oscar. Oh. "Te quiero Kevin!"

I guess Oscar didn't want any confusion over the way he feels about Kevin. Remind me not to ask this kid to translate any newsletters I send home. Too cute!!
